The Shops at Riverwalk is a multi-faceted shopping, dining, and entertainment destination created by renown developer Castle & Cooke as part of their Bakersfield west side master plan. eMedia has worked with Castle & Cooke for many years on their master planned residential communities, so it was only natural that they would turn to us to help create the branding and marketing for the Shops at Riverwalk. Our goal was to create an upscale image of a sophisticated, fun destination unlike any of the existing “old-school” malls and strip centers. We achieved that with a mix of print, outdoor, digital, social media, and television advertising that consistently makes the Shops at Riverwalk the number one choice in the Bakersfield Californian “Best of Bakersfield Readers’ Choice Poll.”
